Social Responsibility

National Night Out:
Employees coordinate the annual safe-streets celebration for tenants in our residential communities. All funding for this event is solicited by employees in their free time. We provide a DJ, refreshments, games, a "Moon Bounce" for the kids, and tons of great prizes, all donated by local merchants.

Thanksgiving Baskets:
Cherry Cove employees fill a large laundry basket with food for a needy family in one of our residential communities. In 2006, Cherry Cove's generous contributions enriched the lives of four thankful families.

Christmas "Adoption":
Cherry Cove employees "adopt" one or two needy families every year. Employees donate groceries for a food basket and money to buy gifts for the designated family. Several employee "elves" deliver the food and gifts to the families just in time for holiday celebrations.

Habitat for Humanity:
Cherry Cove Hospitality employees participate in Marriott's "Hospitality at Home" program serving the community to benefit Habitat for Humanity International. Through home sponsorships, volunteer service and donation opportunities, this national program engages Fairfield Inn associates, owners, franchisees and customers to help Habitat for Humanity continue its work in providing decent, affordable housing for families in need. We do not disclose any non-public personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as permitted by law.

Going Green

The Cherry Cove Group has a program where the employees participate in recycling and waste initiatives. In addition, Cherry Cove has partnered with specific hotel chain brands (Hilton) that offer LEED certified properties by the USGBC.
