Social Responsibility

As a part of the Maryland community, we understand our social responsibility and constantly give back to the community that has been so kind to us. Part of our mission and philosophy is for our business and our community to grow together, and we are humbled to touch on the several events that Cherry Cove employees participate in each year.

National Night Out:

Employees coordinate the annual safe-streets celebration for tenants in our residential communities. All funding for this event is solicited by employees in their free time. We provide a DJ, refreshments, games, a "Moon Bounce" for the kids, and tons of great prizes, all donated by local merchants.

Thanksgiving Baskets:

Cherry Cove employees fill a large laundry basket with food for a needy family in one of our residential communities. Since 2006, Cherry Cove's generous contributions enriches the lives of four thankful families each year.

Christmas "Adoption":

Cherry Cove employees "adopt" a few families every year. Employees donate groceries for a food basket and money to buy gifts for the designated family. Several employees "elves" deliver the food and gifts to the families just in time for holiday celebrations.

Habitat for Humanity:

Cherry Cove Hospitality employees participate in Marriott's "Hospitality at Home" program serving the community to benefit Habitat for Humanity International. Through home sponsorships, volunteer service and donation opportunities, this national program engages Fairfield Inn associates, owners, franchisees and customers to help Habitat for Humanity continue its work in providing decent, affordable housing for families in need. We do not disclose any non-public personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as permitted by law.

Going Green

The Cherry Cove Group employees participate in recycling and waste initiatives. In addition, Cherry Cove partners with specific hotel chain brands, such as Hilton, that offer USGBC LEED certified properties.
